The Price Of Basra Light Crude Rises And Its Heavy Declines

The price of Basra light crude rose, while heavy crude fell, in conjunction with the rise in international oil prices before Friday’s close.

Basra Light crude oil exported to Asia rose to 66.44 dollars a barrel by 1.22 cents, or 1.87%, compared to last Thursday, while Basra heavy crude oil prices recorded 61.91 dollars a barrel, a decrease of 1.21%.

Basra Light Oil recorded the highest prices compared to other OPEC oils, as Saudi Arabian Light crude scored $ 64.72 per barrel, and Emirati Murban mixture $ 63.70 per barrel, while Algerian Sahran blend was $ 65.17, and Nigerian Light Bony Light hit $ 65.51, and Gerasol. Angolan $ 66.21.

International oil prices rose, closing Brent crude at $ 66.44, and US West Texas crude at $ 63.58.
