A force from the 30th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted today, Sunday, a livestock smuggling operation in Nineveh.

A statement by the Authority stated that the force was able, through an elaborate ambush, to thwart the smuggling of livestock, the number of which exceeded 300 sheep, through the side roads in Jabal Bashiqa towards the Kurdistan region.

The livestock were handed over to the competent authorities to carry out the required procedures.
