The US and Saudi navies begin “Outrageous Anger” exercises in the Kingdom

Baghdad / NINA / – Saudi Arabia and the United States of America announced that the navies of the two countries have started the “Burning Rage 22” maneuvers, which are hosted by the Kingdom in the provinces of Yanbu’ and Al-Kharj.

The Saudi Press Agency stated that the infantry of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the infantry of the US Navy arrived at the port of Yanbu’, in preparation for participating in the maneuvers.

It explained that the exercise, which begins in the middle of this week and extends for several days, includes many hypotheses and exercises between the Saudi and American forces.

It added that the exercise comes to strengthen the partnership between the Saudi forces and their American counterparts in implementing bilateral plans.

The Central Command of the US Marine Corps stated that the exercise is witnessing the eighth edition of it, and is held every two years, with the aim of “supporting regional security, crisis response and emergency operations.”
