Thunderclouds and Dusty Winds Expected in Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Thunderclouds are predicted to form over parts of Jazan, Aseer, Najran, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions, while gusty and dust-stirring winds are expected to affect these areas, as well as parts of Makkah and Madinah regions. These conditions are likely to reduce horizontal visibility to near zero on the coastal road leading to Jazan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the weather will be hot to extremely hot in areas within the eastern and central regions of the Kingdom, as well as parts of the Northern Borders Region. The Red Sea will experience northwesterly to southwesterly winds at 10-50 km/h in the northern and southern parts, and northerly to northwesterly winds at 15-45 km/h in the central part. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, with the sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are forecasted to be northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-50 km/h in the southern part. Waves will also range from half a meter to over two meters, with sea conditions expected to be calm to choppy.
