Thunderclouds and Gusty Winds Expected in Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Thunderclouds accompanied by gusty winds are expected to develop over parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, impacting weather conditions significantly. Maximum temperatures are predicted to remain high across parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these regions will also experience gusty, dust-stirring winds. The weather patterns will extend to parts of Najran, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Madinah, and Makkah regions, creating challenging conditions for residents and travelers.

In the Red Sea, wind patterns are expected to be northwesterly to westerly with speeds ranging from 15-50 km/h in the southern part. The sea state will vary from calm to choppy with waves reaching over two meters. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds will blow northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-35 km/h in the northern and central parts, peaking at 42 km/h in the northern part. The southern part will experience northeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10-28 km/h, with waves ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, while the sea remains relatively calm.
