Riyadh: Moderate to heavy thunderstorms are anticipated to impact several regions across Saudi Arabia, potentially leading to flash floods. The affected areas include Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah, as these regions brace for adverse weather conditions accompanied by hail and gusty, dust-stirring winds.

According to Saudi Press Agency, high temperatures are expected to persist in certain areas of the Eastern Region. Additionally, there is a possibility of fog formation during the early morning hours along the coastal parts. Thunderclouds accompanied by gusty winds are forecasted over the southern portions of the region, as well as in parts of Najran, Riyadh, and Hail.

Wind patterns over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 18-42 km/h in the northern and central sections. In the southern part, winds will shift in the afternoon to southeasterly to southwesterly, reaching speeds of 10-50 km/h. Wave heights will vary from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea conditions to range from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly in the northern and central regions, and northeasterly to southeasterly in the southern region, with speeds predicted to be 10-30 km/h. Wave heights are expected to be between half a meter to one meter, keeping the sea relatively calm.
