Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds are predicted over parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, while light rain may affect the southern parts of the Eastern Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds that may stir dust are expected in parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, Madinah, and Tabuk regions, as well as along the coastal highway connecting Jeddah and Jazan. Temperatures are anticipated to remain high in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions.
Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights will vary from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift from northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and from easterly to northeasterly in the southern part at speeds of 10-30 km/h. The waves will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.
