Makkah: The Transport General Authority has carried out more than 6000 monitoring check-ups over transport vehicles during the seventh day of Dhu al-Hijjah in Makkah and Madinah. During its campaigns, the authority said it had issued over 1000 written violations and more than 290 automatic monitoring violations, with a compliance rate of 86%. These violations varied from operating a transport vehicle and employing drivers without obtaining permits to transporting goods without official documents. Source: Saudi Press Agency
