Riyadh: The Republic of Trkiye strongly condemned the Houthi militia's attacks on civilian and economic facilities in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries to a number of civilians, including women and children. Trkiye also condemned the continued targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea and threats to the safety and freedom of international maritime navigation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, which endanger civilian lives and property and contribute to escalating tensions in the region. The ministry reiterated Trkiye's support for the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The ministry emphasized that these attacks also undermine diplomatic efforts to achieve a lasting political solution to the conflict in Yemen.
