Malham: Two falcons were sold for SAR385,000 at the 21st session of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 in Malham, north of Riyadh. The auction coincides with the Kingdom’s annual falconry season, which runs from October 1 to November 30.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the club offers falconers various facilities, such as transportation, accommodation, and sales documentation services, as well as live broadcasts of the auction on television and social media.
The auction has become a primary destination for locally captured falcons, reinforcing the Kingdom’s cultural identity, transferring falconry knowledge to new generations, and serving as an economic source of income for hundreds of participating falcon trappers.
