Riyadh: On the 19th night of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction, held at the club’s headquarters in Malham until November 15, two falcons were sold for a combined total of SAR191,000. The auction began with a young Shaheen falcon from Al-Qunfudhah, with bidding starting at SAR40,000 and seeing intense competition before the falcon was sold for SAR91,000. A second Shaheen falcon from Al-Hassi in Umluj, for whom bidding started at SAR65,000, was eventually sold for SAR100,000.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Falcons Club offers a range of comprehensive services for falconers throughout the auction season. The club’s teams assist falcon owners by arranging accommodations and transportation to the auction site. Each falcon is showcased in a fast-paced live auction that is broadcast on television and via the club’s social media platforms.
