The police arrested two people in their possession narcotic pills, north of Hilla, the center of Babylon Governorate.

A source in the Babylon police said: "The police arrested the two people while they were trying to enter the city of Hilla through the Mahaweel district, and seized more than two thousand narcotic pills and sums of foreign currency that were hidden in their vehicles."

He added, "The police transferred the suspects to the competent authorities, and the seized items were kept."
