Umm Al-Qura University’s Cultural Interface Welcomes over 13,000 Pilgrims, Umrah Performers during Hajj Season

Makkah: Umm Al-Qura University's Cultural Interface received more than 13,500 pilgrims and Umrah performers during the Hajj 1447 AH season as part of its cultural, educational, and enrichment programs aimed at enhancing the pilgrims' experience, highlighting the Kingdom's civilizational and cultural message in serving visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the university offered visitors a diverse package of interactive programs and initiatives. These initiatives allowed the visitors to view nearly 5,600 artifacts and more than 21,000 historical and scientific manuscripts. These items are held across more than 10 museum collections, reflecting the Kingdom's rich civilizational and cultural depth.

The initiatives are part of the university's efforts to strengthen digital transformation and provide awareness and enrichment content to improve the experience of pilgrims and Umrah performers. This is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives for serving pilgrims.
