UN Criticizes Houthi Attacks on Saudi Airports

Riyadh:The United Nations has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, specifically highlighting recent assaults on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport and Abha International Airport, which have led to casualties among both citizens and residents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated during a daily press briefing that such attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure are forbidden under international humanitarian law.

He emphasized the importance of exercising maximum restraint and implementing all necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure from the dangers of military operations.
