Athens, Deputizing the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Deputy Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and Commander of the Unit for Supporting Temporary Crises of COVID-19 at Defense Ministry General Mohammed bin Salamah Al-Balawi headed the ministry’s delegation to the International Crisis Management Conference “ATHENA 21” in Greece, it was reported here today.
The two-day event, held at Dekelia Airbase on December 7, was inaugurated by Greek Deputy Minister of National Defense Nikos Chardalias and Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff General Konstantinos Floros, in the presence of several officials of participating countries.
General Al-Balawi reported that the conference discussed several issues and subjects that were addressed by organizers and participants, stressing the importance of holding such events that are concerned with crises to exchange views and means on how to deal with them to realize envisioned goals.
