Riyadh: US Central Command: US Central Command (CENTCOM) launched a series of military strikes against targets in Iran in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement, CENTCOM said: "Our forces have begun a series of powerful strikes against Iran to impose a cost for targeting and attacking commercial shipping," adding that "the aggression demonstrated by Iran was unprovoked, dangerous, and constituted a clear violation of the ceasefire."
