Riyadh: Vice Minister of Tourism Abdulmuhsen Al-Mazyad met today with 25 students enrolled in the Intermediate Diploma in Hotel Management at the College of Tourism and Archeology of King Saud University (KSU).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is delivered by the Ministry of Tourism and KSU's College of Tourism and Archeology in partnership with Austria's IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. It is designed to cultivate local talent and align national qualifications with global industry standards.

The initiative bridges academic coursework with hands-on practical training, ensuring graduates are workforce-ready to meet the needs of the Kingdom's expanding tourism sector. Leveraging international expertise through its partnership with IMC Krems, the curriculum delivers world-class instruction in hospitality, operations, and leadership.

Students undergo training both locally and abroad, gaining firsthand exposure to international work environments. This comprehensive approach is central to the ministry's commitment to building a globally competitive workforce that combines authentic Saudi hospitality with international best practices.

The ministry continues to build impactful partnerships with leading universities and academic institutions under its human capital development strategy "Ahluha", which focuses on building a sustainable, highly competitive tourism ecosystem in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Tourism Strategy.
