Vice President Receives Russian Ambassador To Iraq
Baghdad, Vice President, Nuri al-Maliki stressed the importance of forming a harmonious government away from the principle of quotas.
A statement by the Information Office of the Vice President said that “Maliki received, in his official office today, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq Maxime Maximov, and discussed with him ways to strengthen the cooperation in various fields and discussed the latest political and security situation in the region and the world.
Maliki said that “our vision for the next phase is to form a harmonious government away from the principle of quotas and has a program that sets priorities to provide services and continue development and maintain the security and stability of Iraq and establish strong relations with the countries of the world on the basis of mutual interests and mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs, praising the positions of the Russian Federation towards Iraq.
