Riyadh, The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecast for Saturday moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by winds that limit visibility. Hail and torrential rains are expected in the Jazan and Asir regions, and thunderstorms accompanied by brisk winds in parts of Najran, Al-Baha, and the heights of Makkah. Dust-stirring active winds will limit visibility on the coastal road from Makkah to Jazan, as well as in the southern parts of the Riyadh region. The weather remains hot to very hot in the Eastern Region. According to NCM, winds over the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly, at a speed of 10-30 km/h, in the northern and central parts and southeasterly turning to northwesterly, at a speed of 20-50 km/h, accompanied by rainy thunderclouds, in the southern part. Winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly, at a speed of 15-35 km/h in the northern part, and southwesterly to northwesterly, at a speed of 10-25 km/h, in the southern part.
