Weather Forecast for Thursday

According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to heavy thundershowers leading to torrential rains and accompanied by gusty winds may occur in parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha and Makkah regions. Thunderclouds may form over parts of the highlands of Madinah and Najran. Dust-stirring winds will limit visibility on the southern coastal route to Jazan, as well as on parts of Najran and Riyadh regions. It will be hot to very hot in parts of Riyadh and the Eastern Region. Winds over the Red Sea will be southwesterly to westerly, reaching 10-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to northwesterly, reaching 25-60 km/h in the southern part. Waves may reach from half a meter to one meter in the northern and central parts, and from a meter and half up to three meters in the southern part. The sea will be relatively calm in the northern and central parts, and relatively choppy in the southern part. In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 15- 35 km/h. Waves will range from half a meter to a meter, and the sea will be calm. Source: Saudi Press Agency
