WHO Director-General Hails Kingdom’s Humanitarian Role

Geneva, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), has commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering humanitarian role especially its generous support to the brotherly Yemenis.

Ghebreyesus’ remarks came during a meeting with Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva during which a number of issues of mutual concern have been discussed, including the humanitarian and relief operations in Yemen. Discussions also covered means to enhance and activate the humanitarian programs funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
