The Women's Languages and Translation Department at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques offers its services to pilgrims and visitors through two initiatives, “Communication” and “Our Role Model”. These two initiatives are part of the presidency’s “Serving Pilgrims and Visitors, a Medal of Pride For Us” campaign in its 11th year.

Director of the Women’s Languages and Translation Department, Shatha Al-Ansari, said that the “Our Role Model” initiative aims at providing knowledge of the Prophet’s teachings to non-Arab women pilgrims in English, Urdu, Turkish, Persian, Uzbek and Chinese.

The “Communication” initiative is pivotal to receiving women pilgrims and visitors at the Grand Mosque, welcoming them in various languages; answering inquiries; providing spatial guidance, digital books and barcodes; introducing the services and initiatives provided, and handing out translated brochures", Al-Ansari added.
