Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Youth Affairs Minister, received Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina, the General Supervisor of the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna).
Yousif Al Binkhalil, Office Member, and Hala Sulaiman, Executive Office Director were present.
The minister praised Bahrainouna's outcome to promote national values in the society, supported by Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and the National Plan Implementation Follow-up Committee Chairman.
The meeting discussed implementing various initiatives for youth, in line with the values and objectives of the national plan. It also highlighted the youth ministry’s initiatives that include Government Excellence Award, Youth City 2030, Excellence and Leadership Award, Bahrain's Festivals, and the volunteer platform.
Minister Tawfiqi said the ministry continues to work on initiatives that are aligned with the goals of Bahrainouna, which serves as a national framework to promote national values.
Tawfiqi noted that these events and programs target the youth, stressing that citizenship values are an integral part of many of the ministry's activities.
Bin Daina said Bahrainouna succeeded in offering more than 100 initiatives. He valued the efforts of the Youth Ministry in offering programmes and activities that attract Bahraini youth.
The meeting also reviewed the updates of the Ministry of Interior’s Watani magazine digitization project and ways to facilitate youth interaction with this platform which is aimed at developing national awareness.
