Riyadh: Zain KSA announced the launch of the first fully carbon-neutral EcoFusion telecom tower site in the Kingdom, in strategic partnership with the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) and Huawei, during its participation in LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is part of the company's strategy to develop more energy-efficient networks, in line with global efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of the telecommunications and technology sector. The launch of the zero-carbon-emission EcoFusion tower site represents an additional step toward reducing Zain KSA's Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon dioxide emissions 42% by 2030. It also strengthens Zain KSA's contribution to Saudi Arabia's efforts to develop a more advanced and sustainable telecommunications sector.
