Riyadh, The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has participated in the World Customs Organization (WCO) Technology Conference and Exhibition held in Vietnam. The event's theme was 'Driving Customs Performance with Data and Technology in the changing landscape of global trade.'

The Authority actively participated in three dialogue sessions during the conference, focusing on various technology-related topics. In the fourth session, the ZATCA team specifically discussed the advantages of utilizing database technologies to enhance customs operations. They highlighted the key benefits that these technologies offer.

In another session, the Authority engaged in discussions surrounding strategies to overcome training challenges and outlined the necessary steps to effectively address them. Lastly, the final session centered around data analysis characteristics within customs operations and the potential for leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance compliance.
