ZATCA Urges Businesses to File January VAT Returns by February 28

Riyadh: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) urged businesses with annual supplies exceeding SAR40 million to submit their VAT returns for January 2026 by February 28.

According to Saudi Press Agency, taxpayers are encouraged to file and pay via the ZATCA website or mobile application to avoid late penalties, which range from 5% to 25% of the tax due.

For support, businesses may contact ZATCA around the clock through its unified call center at 19993, the @Zatca_Care X account, or via live chat and email.

VAT remains a primary indirect tax in the Kingdom, applied to most goods and services as part of the national tax framework.
