The security forces in Maysan arrested two suspects, during an inspection within the joint Galat Saleh Checkpoint.

The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement: "The third regiment of the ninety-seventh infantry brigade of the Operations Command managed to arrest two suspects and seized 3 bags in their possession of estimated at about 1 kilogram of narcotic crystal, in addition to a glass tube used for drug abuse."

The leadership added that the defendants were handed over with the seized materials to the competent authority to complete the investigation and legal procedures against them.
