Al-baha: Forests and vegetation cover in Al-Baha Region are among its most prominent natural and environmental features. The region's diverse topography, varying elevations, and distinct environments, stretching from the Sarawat Mountains to the Tihama coastal plain, have fostered rich plant life, including extensive forested areas and a wide range of trees, shrubs, and wild plants.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Director General of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) in the Al-Baha Region, Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Qudwa, revealed that the region has 105 forests covering an estimated area of 221,000 hectares.

He indicated that the region's vegetation includes a number of plant communities, most notably juniper, acacia, tamarisk, and acacia tortilis.
