4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes South of Kermadec Islands

An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck south of the Kermadec Islands, off the coast of New Zealand. According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. No tsunami warnings were issued, and so far, no casualties or material damage were reported.
