5.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Indonesia

Jailolo: A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Jailolo area in North Maluku province, Indonesia, today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics reported that the earthquake occurred 118 kilometers west of Jailolo at a depth of 24 kilometers. There have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Authorities are monitoring the situation and assessing the impact of the earthquake on the surrounding regions. Local residents have been advised to stay alert and follow safety guidelines issued by the authorities.
