A joint force from the National Security Service, in cooperation with the Babylon Police, arrested today, Friday, in an ambush in the western Hamza district, south of Hillah, a woman trading in counterfeit foreign currency.
A source in the force said, “Intelligence information and an ambush led to the arrest of a woman in her possession of three thousand counterfeit dollars in the western Hamza district, south of Hillah, who was trying to sell them in the local market.
He added that the police transferred the accused to the competent authorities for investigation, and the seized items were seized.”
