AgriServ Launches Electronic Food Import Permit Service

Riyadh: The National Company for Agricultural Services (AgriServ) has launched an electronic service for issuing food import permits. The initiative is part of the company's efforts to develop its digital services and streamline procedures for beneficiaries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the service allows applications to be submitted electronically and covers poultry meat and products, products of aquatic animal origin, and table eggs and their products. It enables electronic verification of products' compliance with approved health and technical standards and requirements before they enter the Kingdom. The service aims to improve procedural efficiency and streamline the beneficiary experience.
