According to Saudi Press Agency, the oasis produces a diverse range of fruits and vegetables, including figs, berries, papaya, Hasawi lime, okra, eggplant, chili peppers, squash, cowpeas, and long beans. It also produces a variety of cucurbit crops, most notably Hasawi watermelon, as well as cantaloupe.

Local produce and crops are in high demand across markets throughout the Kingdom and GCC countries, highlighting the competitiveness, economic value, and strong market potential of agricultural production in the region.

Agricultural investment opportunities are expanding with the adoption of modern technologies, as well as advancements in packaging and food processing that increase the added value of agricultural products, stimulate trade, and create greater opportunities for marketing and exports.
