Al-Araji Discusses In Sulaymaniyah The Procedures Of The Security Minute Between Iraq And Iran

The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, visited Sulaymaniyah, today, Saturday, at the head of a delegation from the security services and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Al-Sudani.

The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement, "The region's interior minister, Riber Ahmed, who went from Erbil to Sulaymaniyah, and the directors of the security services in the region were receiving Al-Araji and his accompanying delegation at Sulaymaniyah airport.

The statement added, "A joint meeting was held, to complement the first meeting in Erbil, during which the region's interior minister gave a presentation on the measures taken by the region, and the directors of the security agencies gave a briefing on all work related to the provisions of the security minute between Iraq and Iran."

The Minister of the Interior of the region stressed the commitment to the agreement concluded by the government with the Iranian side.

The delegation also paid a visit to the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, in Sulaymaniyah, during which they discussed the overall political and security situation, as well as stressing the continuation of cooperation between the center and the region, to enhance security and stability in the country.

For his part, the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, conveyed the Prime Minister's greetings to all the people of the region.
