Riyadh:Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb has reiterated his strong condemnation of the ongoing Houthi attacks targeting Makkah, Madinah, and surrounding areas, as well as civilian infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the condemnation of the latest attacks, which Saudi air defense systems successfully intercepted near the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Tayeb expressed his categorical rejection of any actions violating the sanctity of these holy sites or jeopardizing the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its citizens and visitors. He described these attacks as sinful acts and a provocation to the sentiments of nearly two billion Muslims worldwide.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Tayeb stated that such actions constitute an assault on the nation that oversees these holy sites cherished by every Muslim.
