The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, stressed on the National Day to commemorate the victims of the Yazidi genocide the importance of moving forward towards achieving a safe and sustainable future for this noble component in its land. Al-Fayyadh said in a statement, "We remember that horrific barbaric attack, which left behind bloody massacres that make humanity's forehead blush, a genocide that history has never known before in the captivity of women, the enslavement of children, mass killing, and forced displacement of an entire society.
