The Secretary-General of Asaeb Ahl Al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, expressed his deep regret that the situation had reached a crossroads with the Sadrist movement from the political point of view.

Sheikh Al-Khazali said in a televised statement: Setting the political framework was not optional, but compulsory, and there is optimism on the part of the people, indicating that there is an atmosphere of satisfaction and for several reasons, including the suffering of citizens since 2019.

He added, "Citizens are looking for hope for something right, and there are positive messages from the government."

He stressed that: Iraq's suffering is older than 2003, and in 2019 the country witnessed a special situation and political instability.

He pointed out that the country's situation during 2019 threatened civil and security peace, which forced an entire government to resign.
