Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, received today, Sunday, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq, Prashant Bisai.
A statement by the Ministry stated, during the meeting, that prospects for joint cooperation in the transport sector were discussed, as the two sides emphasized the depth of the historical relations between the two friendly countries.
The meeting also discussed ways to develop the Iraqi transport sector and benefit from the vast capabilities of India in the fields of transport.
The Minister expressed his keenness to benefit from Indian technology in the transport sector.
For his part, the Indian Ambassador affirmed his country's readiness to cooperate and provide the necessary support to the Iraqi transport sector, and to increase the volume of economic cooperation between the two countries.
