Religious authority Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi condemned what he described as "terrorist acts and crimes against humanity in Lebanon", offering his condolences to the families of the martyrs and praying for the wounded. Al-Najafi said, according to a statement from his office: "Once again, the usurping entity spews the poisons of treachery and deceit by its sinful attack on our people in Lebanon on a bloody Tuesday, where the attack was on a large group of believing mujahideen and civilians." He added: "It is unfortunate that this brutal attack on all values, laws and regulations passes without a deterrent from those who claim humanity from the Western countries that support the usurping entity." He continued: "It is a blatant crime against humanity, and the least that can be expressed about it is that it lacks the lowest moral values." /End Source: National Iraqi News Agency
