Al-Noor Specialist Hospital Earns Renewed SFDA Accreditation for Blood Establishments

Makkah: Al-Noor Specialist Hospital, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, has received renewed accreditation from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) for its Blood Bank for three years.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the renewal followed the Blood Bank's successful compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards applicable to blood establishments in the Kingdom. The SFDA conducted an inspection on February 4-5 to verify the Blood Bank's compliance with approved regulations and standards governing the quality and safety of blood components and related services.

The authority renewed the Blood Bank's accreditation based on the inspection findings, reaffirming its compliance with GMP requirements and approved quality and safety standards governing the operation and management of blood establishments.
