The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, made a phone call today, Tuesday, with the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and congratulated him on his re-election as President of Turkey.

During the call, the Prime Minister affirmed his aspiration for the next stage to be a stage of continuous cooperation and development of relations between the two countries, praising the keenness of the friendly Turkish people to continue practicing democracy by participating in the recent elections.

For his part, Erdogan expressed his thanks and pride in congratulating the Prime Minister, stressing the desire to work jointly to develop bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries, for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
