Alaska’s Attu Island Shaken by 5.0-Magnitude Earthquake

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake today struck the coast of Attu Island in Alaska.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located 50 kilometers from Attu Station on the island at a depth of 43.2 kilometers.

No casualties or property damage caused by the earthquake have been reported so far.
