The US Central Command announced, today, Thursday, the arrival of fighter jets to the Middle East region. The US Command said, "F-22 aircraft have arrived in the region as part of US reinforcements to confront the threats of Iran and its agents." Last Friday, the United States announced that it had sent the aircraft carrier (Abraham Lincoln) and an additional squadron of fighter jets and warships to the Middle East as the region prepares for Iranian revenge for the assassination of the former head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran on July 31. US officials said that "the Iranian attack could happen in the coming days, and the United States is closely monitoring the region. They added that the attack could be similar to the ballistic missile and drone strike that Iran launched against Israel in April, but it could also be larger, more complex, and coordinated with Iranian proxies in the region.
