Arab Parliament Condemns Attack on Emirati Tanker in Strait of Hormuz

Riyadh: Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the targeting of an Emirati tanker with a missile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that targeting commercial vessels and threatening international navigation constitutes a dangerous escalation that directly impacts global trade and energy supplies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today, Al-Yamahi expressed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support for all measures taken to preserve its security, stability, resources, and facilities.

He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in ensuring the security of maritime navigation and confronting practices that destabilize international waterways and expand regional conflict.
