Riyadh: Aseer Region has achieved a new milestone in the tourism sector after one of its tourist farms won the HalalTrip People Awards 2026, presented by the HalalTrip platform of Singapore-based CrescentRating, in recognition of inspiring models that have made a meaningful impact on sustainable tourism, the preservation of local identity, and community empowerment.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the recognition of A'anab Tourist Grape Farm in Aseer reflects its position as a leading model for sustainable rural tourism through leveraging the region's natural and cultural assets to provide an integrated tourism experience, promote environmental conservation, support the local community, and showcase the cultural identity of Aseer Region. The award was based on evaluation criteria focused on environmental sustainability, community impact, preservation of cultural identity, and the quality of the tourism experience.

The project was honored at the Halal in Travel Global Summit 2026 and featured across HalalTrip's official platforms, helping showcase Aseer Region and its tourism offerings to a specialized international audience.
