Assistant Culture Minister Engages in ALIPH Board Discussions in Paris

Paris: On behalf of Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Al-Touq participated in the 17th meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH), held in Paris.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the board reviewed the foundation's key achievements, programs, and projects implemented during the past period, and discussed its future directions and agenda items.

Discussions covered the foundation's efforts to protect endangered cultural heritage, enhance responses to risks to heritage sites and cultural property in conflict and crisis zones, and support initiatives to preserve and sustain cultural heritage.

Saudi Arabia's participation in the ALIPH board reflects its role in supporting international efforts to protect cultural heritage and enhance international cooperation in heritage conservation, contributing to safeguarding humanity's cultural legacy for future generations.
