Bahrain Condemns Iranian Missile, Drone Attacks Targeting Kuwait

Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed the country's strong condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of the State of Kuwait by hostile Iranian missile and drone attacks. The ministry labeled these actions as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability, a flagrant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, a clear breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighborliness, as well as a serious violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry affirmed Bahrain's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all legitimate measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

It also praised the efficiency of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces and the vigilance of Kuwait's air defense systems in confronting repeated Iranian attacks. Furthermore, the ministry expressed wishes for Kuwait and its people to continue enjoying security, peace, stability, and prosperity.
