Beirut: Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, received the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza, at Ain al-Tineh Palace. Their discussions focused on the United Nations programs in Lebanon, particularly those addressing humanitarian concerns.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Berri also convened with a delegation from economic bodies, which included former Minister Mohamed Choucair, President of the Economic and Social Council Charles Arbid, and several syndicate heads. The discussions revolved around political developments and the general situation in Lebanon, with a specific focus on the country’s economic conditions and daily living challenges.
