House Speaker, Nabih Berri, received on Tuesday at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh, the ICRC’s Regional Director for the Near and Middle East, Nicolas Von Arx, in the presence of the Head of the ICRC Delegation in Lebanon, Simone Casabianca Aeshlimann.
The delegation briefed Speaker Berri on the Delegation’s work in Lebanon under the current circumstances in light of Israel’s continued aggression against Lebanon.
Speaker Berri also received in Ain el-Tineh, former Minister Ghazi Aridi, with whom he discussed the general situation and political and field developments.
Berri later received the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator, Imran Riza, with whom he discussed the country’s general conditions, especially the humanitarian situation, the displacement crisis, and the United Nations work programs regarding this file.
