Border Guard in Jazan Foils Attempt to Smuggle 22,500 Narcotic Tablets

Jazan: The Border Guard land patrols in Jazan Region’s Al-Dayer Governorate have successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 22,500 narcotic tablets. The authorities have taken legal action and handed over the contraband to the pertinent authority.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security authorities are urging the public to report any information concerning the smuggling or sale of drugs. Residents can report such activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. Additionally, they can contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995 or through the email address: [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
